Views of Palazzo Farnese[edit]

I've been told to write a message on this talk about a link I wish to add to the page. The links takes to a website that I am creating with views of Rome from past centuries. Books about Rome and othe useful information. I was linking to a page where it is a available part of a book from Charlotte Yonge, this is the link: http://www.romanbookshelf.com/books/WorldGreatNations/World%20Great%20Nations.html. Let me know what you think about it and if you believe it could be a good one to add to this page. Thank you. Is Hannah More a biography of Hannah More? Wikikiwi 10:52, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Yes it is

Length of time Yonge was a Sunday School teacher[edit]

The article states that: She died at the age of 77. She was a Sunday School teacher for 71 years. Was she really teaching Sunday School at the age of six, or is the reference for this claim wrong or misquoted? It looks implausible, to say the least. 70 or 71 years is correct. Gillian Avery's introduction to Village Children, a collection of Yonge's Langley Tales, quotes Yonge's statement that she became a Sunday School teacher at the age of 7, and adds that "She taught at the same school for seventy-one years". I have no strong views on whether the page should be merged with the main Charlotte Yonge page, but I don't think the list here is complete. e.g. Unknown to History: Captivity of Mary of Scotland by Charlotte Yonge.

Also would it be possible to include an External Link to her works on Project Gutenberg, please? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Echinops (talkcontribs) 16:53, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
