any relationship with Nazarene Judaism?

Reply[edit]

YES. Nazarene Judaism is a subset of Messianic Judaism. Nazarene Judaism considers itself to be wholly Jewish, rather than Christian, and tends to isolate itself from the Christian church. If one could consider Orthodox (or even ultra-orthodox) Judaism, and adding Yeshua (Jesus), you won't be too far off the mark. To put it another way : Messianic Judaism and Nazarene Judaism both regard Jesus as the Jewish Messiah; both emphasize faith in Jesus while clinging to their Jewishness. But Nazarene Judaism goes a step further : in believing in Jesus, they cling not only to JEWISHNESS but, as much as they consider practicable, to JUDAISM. If nobody else beats me to it, I will try to write up an article on Nazarene Judaism and post it on Wikipedia sooner or later.
