Technical sentence is gibberish[edit]

Please clarify this sentence, which is meaningless: "Every TV broadcasts the service across the room utilizing 8-12 standard definition cameras." MichaelSHoffman (talk) 01:49, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Images need to be copyright-friendly for Wikipedia to use them. All images used that have have an active copyright status need to have an external link provided in order to be verified. If you can find an external link to this image that explicitly gives a copyright status acceptable to Wikipedia then please do so. I've changed the image copyright status to reflect this to see if it fits under the Wikipedia "fair use" rules. It may not pass muster on that. If you live nearby or are a member of the church, then it might be good if you got a digital camera and took your own photos and then release them under the GFDL or Public Domain. Wikipedia can easily use those ones and would prefer to do so rather than fair use. --One Salient Oversight 23:55, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Worship Center[edit]

The Willow Creek Worship Center hold about 7,000. The Mormon Conference Center holds 21,000, and can fit two 747 aircrafts inside. Infracaninophile 18:25, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Willow Creek's holds 7,200 to be specific. Wow, I'd never heard of that Mormon building. 21,000?! That's pretty impressive - it holds more than most NBA arenas! Still, I know for a fact that I heard that Willow Creek is the largest "theater" in the US - whatever that means. I have to say though that the Mormon building looks pretty much like the basic style of Willow Creek's worship center - just 3 times bigger!

Actually, the auditorium holds 7,095. --KarynJohnson (talk) 04:05, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I heard that Willow Creek is the largest "theater" in the US" ---As a person that worked on the Willow Creek production crew for 5 yrs we were told the auditorium seats 7,300. As for the size of the auditorium it is known for having the largest "proscenium arch" in the world, I'm not sure why we needed it but we had it just the same. Willow Creek is not known to have the largest theater in the US. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.14.0.122 (talk) 05:38, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Summit.jpg[edit]

The image Image:Summit.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

The Train Wreck[edit]

I wish someone would add a section to this article about the so called "Train Wreck" back in the late 70's, when Hybels fired his co-founder for actions probably not dissimilar to the actions he was later accused of, and the church covered it up. 121.200.23.214 (talk) 22:12, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
