Did you want more Dragon Ball Z stuff? This is a very, very lengthy description of the whole "saga" of some characters. Is it notable? Should it be broken out? Should it indicate Dragon Ball Z in its title? Geogre 01:51, 19 Aug 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep, send to cleanup. No, it shouldn't include Dragon Ball Z in the title unless there's another King Piccolo Saga that I'm unaware of, or if its proper title includes the series title. That, and this isn't from Dragon Ball Z; as far as I can tell, it's from the original Dragonball series. -Sean Curtin 04:35, 19 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep; no need for disambiguating "(Dragon Ball)" in title. Personally, I don't want more Dragon Ball Z stuff, but that's not the issue. We have plenty of articles about individual episodes or groups of episodes for popular shows (e.g.: List of Doctor Who serials). There is a significant demand for episode articles and a number of editors who are willing to supply them. • Benc • 05:13, 19 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: useless pseudoinformation. Complete waste of time & resources. Away with this crap. Wile E. Heresiarch 06:00, 19 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Couldn't it be incorporated into some other DBZ article? If not, then keep, I suppose. DannyBoy | Talk 06:24, 19 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep, and desperately needs cleanup (longest paragraph ever). Like Benc says, there's plenty of precidence on Wikipedia for episode synopsis articles (this one seems like many episodes, it's a little unclear what it is, but that's a cleanup issue). Sure, lots of people think they're a waste of space, but I think Benc had it right when he said that since there is a demand for them and editors eager to supply that demand, it's fine unless the Wikipedia community sets a policy against articles about episodes. - Eisnel 18:55, 19 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. I doubt it hurts, though I admit that there's getting to be too many Dragon Ball articles. Probably should be cleaned up. I'm personally less offended than these type of articles than some because some contributors to the "niche" sections of Wikipedia move on to work on more important and relevant aspects of the site. • Keep but needs some cleanup. BCKILLa.
  • I kinda like it | 00:09, 20 August 2004 (PT)
  • This article makes me sad. Nonetheless, it's part of a series, and warrants the benefit of the doubt. Keep, after removing roughly half the text. Cleanup

This article is tagged for cleanup, but forgive me if that seems a little vague to me. What exactly needs to be done to improve the article? Lin Xiaopei 23:23, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

  • I've done an overall edit and cleaned it up considerably. I made it more encyclopedic in tone, eliminated redundancy and superfluous language, tried to standardize spellings and such (more on that below), and worked on mechanics. Unfortunately, it's still a pretty poor article in my opinion. I plan to come back in a day or two to run back over it a little more closely (my brain is fried at the moment) but no matter how much copyediting I do it desperately needs someone who's familiar with the series to straighten out the plot summaries and also to make the names and other series-specific words more consistent. I've done my best with both issues, but it's hard to do a very good job when I have zero knowledge of the series, and when there are multiple names/spellings and I have little way of knowing what's equivalent to what. I've posted a copy of this note on the cleanup page. -- edi (talk) 20:32, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
