Me[edit]

I have removed "John Williams, (1988-present),Me". "Me" was technically inaccurate, as my name was not John Williams, and I'm not from Orrville. -- Oliver P. 19:04, 19 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Disambig/Composer[edit]

Does anyone else think that John Williams (composer) should be here, and make this page into John Williams (disambiguation)? Nearly all the Google results are for the composer. National Parks [[User_talk:Nationalparks|(talk)]] 07:21, 2 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Just spent some time tidying the links to this page. Currently we have over 250 links to John Williams the composer, less than fifty for the guitarist and just over fifty for this page itself (closer to twenty if you ignore the links from user space and talk pages. By a large margin the composer John Williams seems to be the most notable. AlistairMcMillan 19:56, 4 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'll leave this for a week. If no one disagrees I'll move the pages and fix all the links next weekend. AlistairMcMillan 19:58, 4 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I just went ahead and added it. Fantumphool (talk) 18:13, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Divisions[edit]

I don't understand why you would have an entire division labeled "People" when there are only one or two other divisions, each with one item. When readers see a name, they know that usually means "people". They don't have to be told. Why not divide by subject like all the other disambig pages on Wikipedia?
