First Cinema[edit]

Corrected to Brierley Hill, Dudley cinema opened in 1928 as shown in an email I received from Odeon promoting their return to their roots with the completion of the conversion of the UCI in Brierley Hill to an Odeon. --CartmanUK26 11:15, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Arnold Deutsch, Communist recruiter (Cambridge Five)[edit]

According to Christopher Andrew's Defence of the Realm, Arnold Deutsch was a cousin of Oscar Deutsch, and enjoyed support from Oscar during his activities in Britain. It is not clear whether Oscar knew his support was being used, ultimately, for Communist ends. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.13.30.104 (talk) 19:14, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sale to Rank[edit]

Article says "After Deutsch died of cancer in 1941, his widow sold the Odeon chain to J. Arthur Rank and it became part of the Rank Organisation". However the Rank Organisation page says "1938 - Odeon Cinemas was purchased" 202.172.103.51 (talk) 11:49, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
