Is this a joke or not?[edit]

I almost thought that this was a joke, but some people really WERE addicted to Wikipedia. Others are just fooling around. — Stevey7788 (talk) 00:48, 30 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This is definitely NOT a joke. There are many true accounts of users going without a break for 24 hours. --Siva1979Talk to me 19:56, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This page would be better if it were either serious (with some kind of encouragement / enforcement for people who choose to take a wikibreak) or purely humorous, but it seems to have been an unhelpful and unfunny mixture of the two for the last 18 years. - excarnateSojourner (talk|contrib) 18:54, 19 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipediholics?[edit]

What's wikipedihol and where can I get some? :-D --Aceizace 22:47, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's very simple. Download a few hundred megs of wiki html files onto your hardrive (ogg files give it a distinct fruity taste, try it) and remove the hardrive. Leave it in a cellar for a few months, in a cybertight barrel, and take it out. Add water before fermenting it, wikivodka has a high mortality rate! ~Gaiacarra

Errrr...formatting[edit]

Is it just me or after trying to edit the top portion of the page and saving, does the text get added under the See also section?

I noticed that, and fixed it when I added myself... - Adolphus79 00:17, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kinds of WikiTherapy[edit]

I have developed these types:

  • Bulimic therapy: Binge & then purge/edit lots & then abstain.
  • Gradual therapy: This one needs an active sysop for enforcement of the agreement. A WikiTherapist tells him/her that they can only edit, say, 20 edits a day. The sysop enforces this by blocking after 20 edits have been reached until the next day.

Doctor Who?[edit]

Might I ask who's the doctor in this clinic? Ex-Borg Seven of Nine (talk) 12:30, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There is no doctor. It's just a list of Wikipediholics. -217.147.38.100 (talk) 16:09, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Delete?[edit]

What does this page even do? It just lists wikipediholics, but no help is given. I think we will need to delete it. I checked in, but no help is given. -217.147.38.100 (talk) 15:23, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
