Copyright violation (now deleted)[edit]

It seems that the text added by 80.133.188.28 on March 6, 2004 is in copyright violation of this webpage: http://www.presov.sk/static.php?akcia=dir&dir=history

See for example the last sentence "The following pages illustrate the legitimacy of this metaphor." This is the only edit so far from that IP. Brona 22:53, 3 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah. I suspect we can just contact them about it, they would probably be OK. It's a good article. I have set this as copyvio in the meantime. Jkeiser 17:42, 8 Jun 2004 (UTC)

I have sent them e-mail in Slovak using their webform at http://www.presov.sk/kontakt.php requesting permission. Brona 00:10, 9 Jun 2004 (UTC)

The old page with pasted text was deleted on June 26, 2004. Brona 03:19, 28 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Greek Catholic Canonical Seminary[edit]

Anon User:84.47.17.232 have added Greek Catholic Canonical Seminary as a separate post-secondary institution. However according to University of Presov website [1], the seminary is part of the University. Brona 03:06, 15 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Strange[edit]

"Soviet influence is tragically evident through the massive concrete apartment buildings"

What about suburbs in Paris? Also Soviet influence?

What?[edit]

What does "2 6,400" in this sentence in the current version of this article mean?

Plaques in the town hall and a memorial in the surviving synagogue record that 2 6,400 Jews were deported from the town under the Tiso government of the First Slovak Republic.

If it's a mistake, can we have higher standards than to allow an error like this to go uncorrected?
