International law[edit]

I guess my response on the Talk: page wasn't clear, because I see you started editing in the middle of the existing article. Wikipedia is, ideally, an encyclopedia, so it's probably best not to have work-in-progress drafts in the middle of articles. I've moved everything to International law/New version, where you can work on it until it's in encyclopedic form. Good luck, it looks like you're making a great start. Oh, and please try to cite sources. Jayjg (talk) 18:11, 12 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

When you mention source formatting, do you mean references or footnotes? Jayjg (talk) 18:27, 12 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Footnotes are more complicated, but better. References are vague, and your claims can be easily challenged if they're not pinned down to a specific text. The very process of providing footnotes often solves WP:NPOV problems; once you attribute something to a specific source, you no longer have to argue about whether or not it is "true". Also, Wikipedia has a cool new footnote mechanism. :-)
You can look at the article dhimmi for some examples; it has four there now. Jayjg (talk) 19:27, 12 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hu Jintao[edit]

I made a quick survey of heads of state at List of state leaders and it seems that only about 1/3 of them have their official photos depicted in the article. We just need to know what Hu Jintao looks like...and the official photo looks highly doctored.--Jiang 07:34, 9 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
