I'm going to edit down the paragraph about "guai yeye", unless someone has an objection... Even if they are there, I don't think they are a defining feature of Wanhua or Ximending, and they certainly don't deserve 3 sentences. I'll also remove the "Tai line" parts in the transportation section. This seems to only refer to the roads crossing through Wanhua, which even if they are worthy of inclusion are better known by their names. Also, was prostitution really only outlawed in 1990?? Daibaklang —Preceding undated comment was added at 03:40, 9 December 2008 (UTC).[reply]

I think this thing about the old guys picking up runaway girls in the McDonalds is a myth. Any sources? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.180.36.194 (talk) 23:28, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pre-Qing history[edit]

Shouldn't the aboriginal history be mentioned? Wasn't this area originally settled by members of the Pinpu Kaitakela tribe? 76.190.213.189 (talk) 03:46, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
